There are several ways to extend your visa while you are in Australia. Here are five common methods:
Apply for a Visitor visa extension: If you are on a Visitor visa, you may be eligible to extend your stay for up to 12 months. You will need to meet certain requirements, such as not having worked in Australia during your initial stay, and proving that you have enough funds to support yourself.
Apply for a Working Holiday visa extension: If you are on a Working Holiday visa, you may be eligible to extend your stay for an additional 12 months. To be eligible, you must have completed three months of specified work in a regional area of Australia.
Apply for a Student visa extension: If you are studying in Australia, you may be able to extend your Student visa to continue your studies or undertake further courses. You will need to meet certain academic requirements and prove that you have enough funds to support yourself.
Apply for a Partner visa: If you are in a relationship with an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you may be eligible for a Partner visa. This visa allows you to live and work in Australia while you are waiting for your permanent residency application to be processed.
Apply for a Business visa: If you have started a business in Australia or have been offered a job by an Australian employer, you may be eligible for a Business visa. This visa allows you to work and live in Australia while you are running your business or working for your employer.
